The Yoga Prescription for the Heart

This program is designed for those recovering from heart surgery and released to rehabilitation and for those instructed by a doctor to improve their heart conditions with exercise. This gentle conditioning class uses slow, repetitive movement supported by focused breathing to help to reduce stress on the heart. By keeping the heart working at a more regulated pace, the cardiovascular system will become stronger and work more efficiently. This class will specifically address the physical and emotional issues relating to heart conditions and the need for reducing stress and improving overall health.
