The Yoga Prescription for the Back

Our most requested class or workshop focuses on common back ailments with practices to relieve stiffness, tension and discomfort while building strength and flexibility throughout the back. Upper back and neck issues are addressed with yoga solutions for jaw, shoulder and headache tension.  Postures for kyphosis, lordosis, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, sciatica and disc problems are incorporated.  We also provide gentle, soothing exercises to ease the most common lower back issue, the lumbar-sacral strain/sprain.
